Experimentally studies the dynamic thermal comfort characteristics beneath the air vent affected by the dynamic cross-flow, based on the dynamic thermal comfort evaluation index of RWI and PD for human body. According to the results of each measuring points along with vertical direction below the vent and the horizontal direction at the height of 1.5 m, the values of RWI and PD are close to the comfortable zone affected by the dynamic cross-flow. By theoretical analysis, only considering RWI and PD evaluation, when the air temperature is 32 ℃ and air speed is 0.65 m/s to 2 m/s, the dynamic thermal comfort need of human body can be satisfied. The coupling effect of cross-flow on air conditioning supply can both improve the dynamic thermal comfort requirements, and increase the supply air temperature to achieve energy-saving of air conditioning system.
